While some people like full glam looks, others prefer a minimal style. However, everyone wants healthy, glowing skin, underneath their makeup or to showcase on its own. Besides hydrating the skin through a moisturizer or revamping radiance through a vitamin C and E serum, your daily actions affect your skin. Your stress levels, hormones, and what you eat are huge benefactors to your skin’s overall appearance. According to The Dermstore’s blog post “Why Is Self-Care Important? Plus, 9 Ways to Do It Like a Pro.”, taking the time to create a self-care routine and practicing it daily, “reduces stress, increases energy throughout the day, adds higher levels of productivity, and enhances intuition and emotional awareness” (Kaitlyn Willow). Taking care of yourself will help lead to radiant skin that you can embrace.
