grocery staples you need on your next publix run

by gaby sicardi

I am all about eating healthier this year, and I am working towards this goal every day. I often struggle with coming up with creative, exciting, and healthy meals, so I wanted to reach out and ask anyone for tips or some of their favorite recipes! In the meantime, I have perfected my grocery staples every time I run to Publix to get food for the week. These specific products are some of my favorite grocery items to purchase and some I’ve been loving recently! Especially in college, it can be difficult to shop for yourself and find items within your budget, so I sincerely hope this helps. Happy shopping and comment below some of your grocery staples and maybe I’ll purchase them next week!
1. BANANAS

This staple is great for an easy, on-the-go snack that is full of Potassium and Vitamin B6.
2. BERRIES

Another great easy snack that are full of different vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
3. SALMON

Amazing source of protein and it is extremely healthy and delicious!
4. YOUR FAV BERRIES

Always a must have!! I love spinach, mushrooms, or Broccoli!
5. AVOCADO

Perfect to add to your meal or to make avocado toast!
6. BAGELS

Publix always has them on sale for BOGO free, so run don’t walk to Publix! Great breakfast option or snack!
7. ALMOND MILK

I’m slowly trying to cut dairy out of my life, so this has been an amazing dairy-free alternative.
8. DAIRY FREE ICE CREAM

Ice cream that’s only 280 calories AND Dairy-free, this is a NECESSITY!!
