by Quinn WilsonA window can be a peaceful, dreamy element in a bedroom, kitchen, living room, and more. It can cheer you up and be a little something that brightens up your day. And let’s be real, we all need a little more happy these days. Whether it’s plants or pictures, window sills are a place with endless possibilities. So how can you spice up your own window? Plants Plants! A personal favorite of mine at the moment. I definitely do not have a green thumb, so I have avoided plants for the longest time. However, after scrolling through beautiful, lively plants on Pinterest and Instagram, I couldn’t resist trying it out for myself. Succulents and other easy-to-take-care of plants are amazing. Plants bring life inside - They can even improve indoor air quality and increase your productivity. Scents and Smells: Warming, relaxing candles are the perfect addition to a window. Add some good smells and good vibes for those late night study sessions with some natural soy candles. Shop some of my favorite candles and candle holders HERE. Oil Diffusers: Essential oil diffusers are another great option I love. Everyone could use some aromatherapy. Lavender, peppermint, and eucalyptus essential oils are some of my go-to scents that help me unwind. Keepsakes: A window sill is an ideal place to display keepsakes and memories. Have a favorite picture of you and your family? Put it on the window sill! Antique family heirloom? Window sill. Favorite books? Window sill! Make your window your happy place, make it a place you love to look at. I hope these ideas gave you some inspiration to add a little something new to your home!
