Amazon has always been an extremely popular source to buy things from, with Tik Tok catching up behind in general popularity. However, the two combined and created a new trend worth trying out. Tons of people on Tik Tok, including celebrities Lizzo and Jordyn Woods, have introduced and made viral new leggings from Amazon that are worth buying. Whether they are the Seasum leggings or dupes of the Lululemon Align leggings, Amazon has them all.
A lot of the Seasum high waisted scrunched leggings sold out due to going viral on Tik Tok. People either post videos of them wearing them and saying to buy them, or show the reaction of their significant other seeing them in the legging and them, loving how they look because they are butt-lifting.
LULU LEMON DUPES
We all know that Lululemon leggings can be expensive, but people buy them in hopes of quality and comfort. However, Amazon has extreme dupes matching Lululemon’s quality, comfort, and style without their large price point. The link I provided includes all of the different Lulu dupes on one website, along with dupes of sports bras.
In the rise of ecommerce and social media, it is definitely easier for something so simple such as leggings to blow up. The leggings have been on Amazon for a while and are now popular and listed as “Best Sellers” because one person made them viral on Tik Tok, starting a chain of buyers and continuing the chain of videos. It is both interesting and cool how anybody can make something blow up on social media and bring new products into the light of others. Social media can also bring out trends to empower girls because girls are liking how these leggings look and fit on them which makes them feel good.
Like many of the other people buying comfortable clothing during the COVID-19 age, I definitely am in the search for leggings and want to give these a shot. What do you think about amazon leggings? Have you tried any yet? I would love to hear what you think! See you next week!

Whether you want vintage Levi’s or a new designer bag, thrift stores have something for everyone. Thrift stores were established about a century ago, but recently, as the rise of awareness for sustainability took place, thrift stores became a popular place to shop in favor over fast fashion.
The benefits of shopping at thrift stores:
Shopping second-hand allows you to be environmentally friendly and saves you money but can also be fun to do with your friends! You can look through different categories of clothes, antiques, etc. and try on different unique pieces together! Like most things now, especially with COVID, there are second-hand websites/apps. Some of my favorites online are Depop, Poshmark, Thredup, and TheRealReal.
Do you guys have any favorite thrift stores (local or online)? If so, I’d love to hear them! See you next week!

For those who live under a rock, TikTok is a video-sharing social networking service that allows individuals all over the world to share 15-60 second videos. According to MediaKix.com, Tik Tok has over 2 billion downloads, the monthly engagement rate is over 70%, and it is currently the fastest growing social media app.
What I love about TikTok is that there are many genres within the app and every individual can view different videos at different times. The social media app is beyond diverse and will provide an answer for any question you may have about any topic. The home page, known as the For You Page, generates and personalizes videos that TikTok believes you will enjoy! Some genres that stumble upon my For You Page are Dance, Fashion, Lifestyle, and Comedy. Take a look below of some popular influencers within those genres from TikTok!
Charli D’Amelio is Tik Tok’s most followed user with over 107 million followers, and she’s only 16 years old!! D’Amelio rose to fame doing popular TikTok dances and even constructing some of her own. This past year, she starred in a movie called “StarDog and TurboCat”, came out with her own book called “Essentially Charli: The Ultimate Guide to Keeping It Real”, and has met influential celebrities like Jennifer Lopez! When it comes to dancing on TikTok, Charli D’Amelio is the footprint!
Addison Rae Easterling, popularly known as Addison Rae, is another influential dancer on the TikTok platform. With 75 million TikTok followers, she truly has impacted this social media platform. She is so influential; she even has a song named after her! It’s called “Addison Rae” by The Kid LAROI. Addison Rae has starred in two movies, one called “Spy Cat” and an upcoming spin off of the iconic 1999 film She’s All That, but the upcoming movie is called “He’s All That.” To top it all off, she is best friends with Kourtney Kardashian and often hangs out with the rest of the Kardashian family. I see Addison Rae evolving away from TikTok and becoming a bigger and more diverse celebrity rather than just a TikTok influencer.
David Dobrik is well known for his comedic, energetic, and hilarious personality. He has 18.7 million subscribers on YouTube and 25.3 million TikTok followers, so clearly, he has a strong fan base. Dobrik is also known for giving back to local communities and his followers who are in need of money or cars. David if you see this, please buy the CMA girls new cars… and post a new YouTube vlog!
Tayden, known as saydenseay, is popular for his nonchalant hilarious personality. I personally find him extremely entertaining and hilarious to watch because his humor shines through the screen with any video he creates. His videos are diverse, hilarious, and perfect for when you are looking for someone to brighten up your day with some humor!
Valerie Escobar feels like the best friend you always imagined having to help you style all your outfits. Most of her videos are service-oriented, offering guides on all things style-related. For example, she has videos on how to style a crewneck, holiday outfit inspirations, and how to style mini leather skirts. She significantly promotes affordable fashion particularly Amazon fashion which is a huge trend right now.
Jordan Batitto makes getting dressed for any occasion like the imaginative and enjoyable time it should be. She’s posted multiple video series on her account including 30 days of outfits, Instagram tips, and DIY outfits. She just screams GOALS.
Don’t these videos just make you want to jump out of bed and start your day? Maya Fiorella’s account is the perfect inspiration you need to wake up at 7am and be productive. I know I always need these videos to inspire me to have a productive day!
Lifestyle Tik Toks are one of my favorite genres that appear on my for you page, and this queen is one influencer you should definitely follow! Her videos range from drinks for clear skin, daily affirmations, and skin care tips. This account truly motivates me to take a day to myself to implement self-care throughout the day.
I would love to hear your opinions about TikTok, what your favorite genres within TikTok are, and who are some of your favorite influencers? See you next week!

If you haven’t heard of Wildflower Cases, let me introduce you.
They are an iPhone case company with cute and trendy designs that are very different from the traditional Apple cases. I am personally obsessed with them. I think they add a little bit of spice to your phone, which we already bring everywhere.
Their cases are also rocked by some of the coolest celebrities such as Dua Lipa, Bella Hadid, Kylie Jenner and more. Each case is uniquely designed to fit a variety of tastes and styles. They’re so fun to mix around and try to match with whichever outfit you’re wearing. In my opinion, some of the coolest designs are their Crazy Checkers in pink and black, Butterfly Sky, Latte Love, and Heavenly Hearts. If you’re an astrology buff, there’s an entire zodiac collection dedicated to zodiac signs. Before getting a new phone, I had around 7 cases that I had collected over time. I always enjoyed switching my cases depending on which outfit I was wearing. Wildflower makes your phone feel like an accessory and that’s what I love. It’s just another thing that makes getting dressed in the morning a bit more fun.
Another cool thing about them is that they collaborate with popular celebrities and content creators for their case designs. They most recently collabed with Emma Chamberlain, and the case features hand drawn designs by Emma. This just adds another creative way to support your fav influencer/celebrity. In June, they made a case with a 70’s vibe that was so cute, but another benefit of the case was that all proceeds went to the Marsha P. Johnson Institute. This organization protects the human rights of Black transgender people. I thought this was such a sick thing to do because it allowed you to support a good cause by buying a cute case.
You can trust that when buying Wildflower, you’re buying from good people.
I’m obsessed with the founders of Wildflower as well. Wildflower is a family business that was founded by Devon Lee Carlson and Sydney Carlson, along with their two parents, Michelle and Dave. Devon and Sydney are both “influencers” now; they both have YouTube channels where they vlog their lives modelling, going to events, and the behind the scenes of making their cases. I follow them both on Instagram and love to see how they incorporate their cases into their style. Watching their vlogs and seeing what they’re like made me want to support Wildflower even more. Once you get a Wildflower case, trust me, you’ll never go back.
I’m currently rocking Crazy Checkers in Pink on my phone, comment your fav down below!

Many of us have spent our entire lives under the impression that we had to dress up for something or someone. The pandemic has put a halt to the occasions in which we’d normally transform into our most confident selves. Parties, club nights, and big get-togethers with loved ones are all on pause until it’s safe. But to stop expressing yourself solely because no one will see you is a disservice to yourself and your fun outfits!
Dressing up for ourselves is a great coping mechanism when we’re feeling low. When lockdown started, I found myself frequently wearing my pajamas and sweats all day. I lost the routine of going to class and seeing my friends and family which took a toll on my mood. Everytime I decided to get myself out of those emotional lows, I reclaimed my confidence and self-love by dressing in an over-the-top outfit. Sometimes, dressing up is as simple as putting on a normal outfit and doing my skincare. Even if you don’t feel great about the clothes in your closet at the moment, wearing your favorite shirt, styling your hair, or putting on some jewelry can make such a difference. Start small and work yourself up.
Now, many of us live with roommates or family members who may try to criticize your efforts to express your style. Give no space in your mind for these comments which usually come from negativity and insecurities. Experimenting with your style is a great way to learn more about yourself, and lockdown is the perfect time to do so. You do not need an excuse to dress up and have fun with your look.
I want to emphasize that staying in your pajamas all day is not a bad thing. I’m even in my pajamas as I write this. However, I challenge you all to stop believing that you don’t deserve to wear anything besides sweats and PJs because your skin is breaking out, your body doesn’t look how you want it to, or there’s no point in dressing up to go nowhere. Drag yourself out of the “Ugh, what does it matter? No one is going to see me” mindset, and do it for yourself. Feeling good is reason enough. You are reason enough.
Here are some takeaways to remind yourself as you build your self-confidence:
And a TikTok by @ashleyxsarah discussing this topic:
Wishing you confidence and self-love,
